Saison 2009

Bottling:

The first wines have been prepared for or already bottled this year at the end of February:

  • Red Wines Selection 2007
  • Red Wines Reserve 2006
  • ready for bottling: White Wines Selection 2008

We take special care in the prevention of the so-called “bottle shock”. We use the power of gravity as completely as possible during the process of bottling.

Pruning:

During the past days, we have also completed our first work of the year in the vineyard.

Pruning was the first step towards a successful 2003 harvest. Short pruning of the canes helps ensure physiological ripeness of the grapes in autumn.

New Plantings:

New vines are planned in the Altenberg vineyard.
