JURIS Pinot noir Terroir-Vinyards

For generations, Pinot noir has been the most important variety at JURIS. In the meantime this variety is planted in 8 different vineyards. Each is harvested and fermented separately. Past experience has shown that each vineyard plot has its own dependably unique character despite variations in vintage. Because this variety does not define itself through extraction or tannin content, a typical expression of fruit and minerality is recognizable.

We have selected four terroir that we would like to exemplify.

The vineyards Hochreit, Unger, Breitenteil and Kirchberg from the 2004 vintage exhibit the extraordinary depth and complexity of this grape variety, which we view as the most valuable

The Pinot noir single-vineyard wines of 2005 and 2006 are available in an exclusive wooden crate of 4 with detailed descriptions of the individual wines or as a wooden crate of 6 from one vineyard. The Kirchberg vineyard has been replaced by the Gols vineyard Haide.
