Generationen
Axel
After graduating from the College of Viticulture in Klosterneuburger,
Axel began his career at Chateau Canon La Gaffeliere (St. Emilion)
and Chateau la Mondotte from 1988 to 1989. Work at the Robert
Mondavi Winery and at Opus One in Napa Valley California followed in 1990.
At the end of 1990, Axel returned to Gols and joined his parents at the
JURIS Winery.
Herta
Herta was born in Steyr in Upper Austria and was originally a master
tailor. It was her secret interest and love of wine that brought her to
Burgenland.
